Prof E,

I hope my letter finds you in good health and spirits. This dry summer should ease the pains in those creaky bones of yours. Krix says hi.  He might have said more but that is all I could hear.

There’s a Party In My Guild and Everyone’s Invited

Adventure Log by Arxaggus No Comments »

Adventuring fever is in full swing here in Westhaven.  The Band of Blades’ notoriety has only grown since we first formed back in late Spring.  We have since earned a reputation for success and have garnered the attentions of an endless swarm of thrillseeking lowlifes at the Hob.  I guess if you own a sword, five silver is a great price to pay if you want to murder goblins.  I can only wonder what these bar scum would be up to if the King’s militia weren’t a constant presence on Annabella’s streets and in her taverns.

You Are One of the Dumbest People I’ve Ever Met…Let’s Go Talk to the Door

Adventure Log by Arxaggus No Comments »

There is no shortage of horse attendants these days.  Whenever word gets out that the Band of Blades is heading to Dragon’s Delve, we are awash in volunteers ready to stand guard on the surface while we head into the depths in search of treasure.  This week, we tested two of them on the first level, and had a third enter midway after yet another death occurred in the dark tunnels below Westhaven.  In addition, Traunk’s wife Arpunia, a mighty warrioress, took her husband’s place at our side.  Including the party regulars of meself, the Doc, Elios, Wrenly, Ham, and Meatwad, the party totaled nine.  I had logistics concerns as to how we were to maneuver in the tight hallways, but was shouted down by Elios.  And why Skandale refuses to adventure with us into the Delve is anyone’s guess.

A Goblin Werewolf in Westhaven

Adventure Log by Arxaggus No Comments »

Life is full of choices.  Sometimes you make the wrong one and pay the price for it.  The party was split as to where our next adventuring destination lie.  A few ideas floated about the Hob last week before we decided to venture into the forest to the east.  A month or two ago we battled a goblinoid contingent at the forest’s edge, our first real encounter with they who call themselves the Red Arrows.  After adventuring under the open sky until now, we agreed a change of terrain might suit us well.  We were not prepared.

Oh, How We Loved That Gal…

Adventure Log by Arxaggus 2 Comments »

This week we went north in an effort to encounter something new.  Except, we didn’t actually go north.  The north gate’s road forks east, and we went that way instead.  Much to our dismay, this road turns south for a number of miles.  I’m fairly certain we didn’t go north of the city at all.

A Fallen Comrade

Adventure Log by Elios No Comments »

Our second excursion to Dragon’s Delve proved to be both informative and costly. Having spent long hours contemplating what questions would best be asked of a Goddess of nature I was exceptionally disappointed to find the pool used to summon Glarius empty, with no trace of the enchanted water that had filled it previously. My disappointment dissipated quickly with John’s discovery of a most curious door we had overlooked in our first visit.

Asleep on The Job

Adventure Log by Elios No Comments »

After the loss of Oathbreaker, the party regrouped at the dungeon entrance to determine our next course of action. There, we were startled to find a young half-orc by the name of Traunk, who had apparently intended to join us on our expedition, but had overslept. When he awoke to find we had departed without him, he set out alone across the wilderness in hopes of catching us before, as he put it, he “missed all the action.”

Always Fear the Red Carpet

Adventure Log by Oathbreaker 2 Comments »

We all went back down to the dungeon to see what was roaming the rest of the corridors.  At the end of the goddess’s room we found an impassible door.  No amount of brute force would budge it; our weapons bounced off of the surface without leaving a mark, and there was not lock or keyhole to pick.  Elios and Doc were exceptionally impressed by the door and started talking to it in tongues.  I do not speak the Language of Door and therefore could not interpret their babblings.
